About Make Medway
Our Vision
We see The MakeMedway Community Makerspace as a place where people come together to create, innovate, and collaborate. The space will be open to local young people and adults, providing access to tools, resources, and a supportive community. We believe in the power of making and its ability to bring positive change.

Our team is dedicated to offering workshops, training, and mentorship to help individuals develop new skills and turn their ideas into reality. We are committed to making a difference and creating a unique space where creativity knows no bounds.
Our Space
We aim to offer a fully accessible workshop, with hand tools, lasercutting, CNC and 3D printing, and computers with industry software.

We are currently looking for a suitable space. It needs to be in Chatham, Rochester, Gillingham or Strood, and accessible by public transport.
It needs to have flat access and accessible toilets.
It needs to be at least 1000 square feet.
We need to be able to secure it properly.

Our Funding
Print Farm/ Project Boxes/ Grants/ Friends/
We are a non-profit social enterprise - any proceeds we make will be used to supply and run the workshop spaces.
Project Boxes
​Each month, we build a limited edition craft kit, and post it to you.
It could be casting, crafting, sewing or something completely different!
The first box project box will be a book binding kit, with all the materials and equipment you need to create 3 types of notebook. Look out for its release on the homepage, or insta and facebook!

Print Farm
We are running a print farm, using our 3D printers to print bulk objects for crafts & projects. Contact us for more details.
External funding
We are a CIC (Community Interest Company). ​
We are seeking funding from various charities and enterprises, both local and national. If you would like more info on our CIC please contact us.
