We are Lottery Funded!
We are fortunate to have secured a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund to buy equipment, including sewing machines and bicycle repair tools.
Collaboration with Cowling & Wilcox art shops
We have been fundraising through selling our workshop kits, and designed a bespoke version of the bookbinding kit exclusive to Cowling and Wilcox art shops. These are in stores now at Canterbury, Shoreditch, Highbury and Camberwell. All income goes directly to the CIC to buy equipment.
Medway Open Studios - July
We are opening our doors for the first time during the Medway Open Studios event. We will have some family friendly crafts to try, and some of our fundraising workshop kits available to buy. The workshop and FabLab will still be in the process of kitting out, so come and have a look and chat about what you would like to see in there. We are en route between Sun Pier and Intra, so easy to drop in if you walk between the two.

We see The MakeMedway Community Makerspace as a place where people come together to create, innovate, and collaborate. The space will be open to local young people and adults, providing access to tools, resources, and a supportive community. We believe in the power of making and its ability to bring positive change.
